Fouling Resistant Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element

The FR series RO membrane elements are commonly used in ultrapure water production, seawater desalination, medical and food processing. However, the reverse osmosis membrane's performance in seawater desalination and purification systems is often significantly reduced due to fouling and contamination. To address this, a fouling resistant reverse osmosis membrane was developed using a special membrane sheet during the manufacturing process. This particular RO membrane type features an improved hydrophilicity, permeability and fouling resistance due to the use of a membrane surface modified technology. This surface modified technology effectively reduces the breeding of biofouling and adsorption of pollutants in the membrane surface. The RO element is designed with a special 34 mil spacer design, which effectively reduces fouling and pressure drops, greatly enhancing the membrane longevity.

Fouling Resistant: PURO Series

The PURO series is an upgraded fouling resistant RO element. Based on the FR series, the polymerization of aromatic polyamides degree and the separation layer thickness are increased. A special 34 mil feeding channel design is also used, further improving the rejection rate, reducing pressure drops and enhancing the element firmness during cleaning.
The PURO-LE series is an energy-saving fouling resistant RO element. Under the same conditions, the operating pressure is reduced by more than 25% to save energy without sacrificing performance.

Introduction

  • PURO I- membrane elements are more pollution-resistant and more resilient to a wide range of chemical cleaning than to it's improved cross-link strength of Polyamide desalination layer.

  • PURO II - membrane elements have higher endurance to chemical cleaning and  higher fouling resistance owing to the brand-new design of feed channel spacer with low pressure differentials.

  • PURO-FRLE - an ultra-low pressure RO membrane, has the features of fouling resistance and low energy consumption, and is applicable to the treatment of industrial sewage with low salinity, such as electronic sewage and surface water.

Application

The FR and PURO series of fouling resistant membranes normally suitable for treatment of complex water source with TDS less than 10000 ppm. It is mainly used for purification of surface water, mining waste water, municipal reclaimed water, industrial waste water, RO brackish water, etc.

LP Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element, Low Pressure RO Membrane

This low-pressure RO element is specially designed for producing high quality water from tap or brackish water in small commercial RO systems. Low Pressure: LP Series

​Low pressure reverse osmosis membrane elements are traditionally used for treatment of brackish water, surface water, underground water, and municipal water with TDS readings of less than 10000 ppm. They are mainly used for the production of bottled water, drinking water, industrial use pure water, high purity water, and boiler replenishment water in different scale amounts, as well as applications in wastewater reuse, material concentration, purification and refining purposes.

Introduction

LP400-LD and ULP400-LD membrane elements adopt LD 34mil feed spacer to improve the liquid turbulence on the surface of membrane, thus reducing the risk of colloid congestion and the frequency of cleaning.

Application

LP series is normally suitable for treatment of brackish water, surface water, underground water and municipal water with TDS is less than 10000 ppm. ULP Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element, Ultra-Low Pressure RO Membrane

The ultra-low-pressure membrane is especially suited for use in water and municipal water treatment systems. This RO membrane element operates at extremely low pressures while simultaneously providing a high performance and reducing operation costs. Designed with an outstanding quality and top performance, the reverse osmosis membranes feature a high rejection rate of up to 99.5% and a high flux at low working pressures. Ultra Low Pressure: ULP Series

The ULP series RO element is widely used for the treatment of surface water, underground water, and municipal water with TDS readings of less than 2000 ppm. Introduction

​ULP440-MAX and LP440-MAX membrane elements can increase permeate flow by 15% and 20% respectively, while maintaining the required rejection rate.
