Extremely Low-Pressure Elements: XLP Series
The XLP series reverse osmosis membrane element is specially designed to operate at extremely low pressures, making it ideal for treatment of surface water and underground water. With an operation pressure of roughly ½ of a low-pressure membrane, the rejection rate is 98%. Because of this, aromatic polyamide based reverse osmosis membranes reduce investment costs in related pumps, tanks and other devices, as well as reduces the operation costs of a reverse osmosis system, thereby lowering overall costs while simultaneously improving treated water quality.
Introduction
XLP series (extremely low pressure) aromatic polyamide RO element is developed for treatment of surface water and underground water. Its operation is about 1/2 of low-pressure membrane, and the rejection rate can reach 98%. Thus it can reduce the investment cost of related pumps, pipelines, containers and other equipment and the operation cost or reverse osmosis system, improve economic benefits.
Application
XLP series RO element normally suitable for treatment of surface water, underground water and municipal water with TDS is less than 1000 ppm, it is especially suitable for the second pass of two-pass RO system.
