Filtration Media Gravel # 20

Gravel  Media is composed of sub-angular, hard, durable, and dense grains of predominately siliceous material. Extracted from a clean glacial and alluvial sand deposits,  Gravel’s physical properties make it among the finest Sand Medias available in the world for filtration applications.
The Media is washed, kiln dried, and screened to meet EXACTING specifications. We can achieve industry leading UC and tighter than required tolerances within specification ranges.
 
1.65 x 2 mm Fine Flint Gravel #20 in 50 lbs. Bags ( 1/2 cu.ft. )
Used in Commercial Tank re-bedding as a top layer of Gravel ( with 1/8 x 1/4 sized gravel as the bottom layer, prior to installing media ( Resin in commercial sized water softener with tank diameter of 18 inches or more ).
